Hello friends and family...it's been way too long. We might be labeled "World's Worst Bloggers" by now:) But anyway, here's some recent pictures of our little boy Owen. He is growing up way too quickly but we are enjoying every minute of it!
He does so many new things each day. He can really talk up a storm! And the kid loves to "play ball". And I mean anything that has to do with a ball. And he's so good at it! He can actually swing his bat and hit a ball that's thrown to him. And he just turned 2 (extremely proud parents can't you tell)!
Hopefully we won't go as long between updates again. We have a lot going on in our lives right now and could see some serious changes very soon. Hopefully that means getting back closer to grandmas and grandpas, uncles, aunts, and cousins real soon.
Hope all is well with everyone and take care!

Well, it's been waaaay too long since an update! Time really does fly! Our little Owen is growing up so fast. It seemed like yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital. Owen is 18 months old now! He does all the things little boys are suppose to do. He has a pretty wide vocabulary too! Here's a few snapshots of what we've been doing over the summer. We're getting ready to head to Fort Myers, FL for vacation in about 2 weeks so Owen will get his first taste of the beach! I'm sure just like his mom and dad, we'll have to drag him away kicking and screaming when it's time to leave!

Long time coming!!!!
Okay...so we've been slacking as far as the updating goes. But that's only because we've been too busy enjoying our time with Mr. Owen!!! The little boy is certainly growing up. He does all kinds of things now. He motors around on his hands and knees like there's no tomorrow. He can pull up on anything and has the "cruising" down pat. He laughs, chuckles, is ticklish, gives hugs, and yes...he still does cry occasionally but usually only when he's hungry or tired...
He has two bottom teeth that he's had for awhile now and 3 top teeth coming in at the moment. He's up to 20 pounds now and is due for the car seat change...finally he gets to face the front of the car instead of staring at the seat the whole time!
He just started going to a new sitter. Her name is Donna and we all really like her a lot. She seems like she will spoil our little guy plenty and give him the love and attention he deserves.
So here's some recent pics below for you to enjoy! Hope everyone is doing well!!!

November with Owen, family, and friends...
Hello all...hope everyone is doing well. Just an update on how our little guy is doing. He is to the point now where he can stand on his own for like 3 whole seconds! It's a game to him. He is such a determined little fellow. It's so cool to watch him balance himself and really concentrate on standing up. He gets such a kick out of it...as does mom and dad.
He has two teeth at the bottom and is starting to eat more and more solid foods. We'd have to say that sweet potatoes and carrots are at the top of his list...with his biter biscuits a close second.
He's definitely found his "voice" and likes to test it out when he gets up in the morning. He's said "mama" for awhile now...but just recently did utter the words "da-da" and then much to our surprise, he shortened to just "dad". Obviously this put a big smile on dad's face. He's also started to wave "bye-bye".
Jeff's family came up in October and we all tailgated before a Mizzou football game. It was a lot of fun and grandma and grandpa had a great deal of funny loving on their grandson.
Last week, some friends from Kansas City...Craig, Jessica, and their son Oliver, came to visit. It was great hanging out with them and Owen and Oliver are new buds.
We'll try to keep everyone updated more often! Take care!
